...Peak Oil...Has world oil production peaked, or will it peak soon? What will happen to our way of living when and if demand is greater tha supply. Peak oil is a hot topic these days. Try to Google Peak Oil and you will get around 2 million hits! It all started with M. King Hubbart who predicted the peak of oil in the lower 48 in the US. Based on some theoretical work and empirical relations he predicted that oil production would peak in the beginning of the 70's. His prediction was made in 1956 and came true. His work also fits other regions in the world, among these - Norway.
