Stavanger is Norway's  fourth largest city with more around 120,000 inhabitants. Nearly 9 percent have a birthplace other than Norway. Run by volunteers, SPIN, the Stavanger Partner Information Network, provides practical information to help you with day-to-day living and working in the Stavanger area.

Stavanger Expats: a new site to assist new and seasoned expats living in Stavanger. The site is divided into two main categories: Coming to Norway and Living in Norway with an interactive forum and relevant monthly blog posts.

PWC Former "Petroleum Wives Club". The PWC is an international English-speaking women's club. The PWC strives to promote friendship and activities for all women, regardless of length of stay or whether they are residents, by providing information, advice and support to aid their adjustment to living in a foreign country.

Networking Norway This website and forum for expats new to Norway. Networkingnorway.com was a Stavanger-based expat´s website chronicling the experiences and challenges related to settling into life in a new country, sharing tips and ideas along the way. The site also hosted a message board for English-speakers in an effort to serve as a forum for other foreigners living in Norway. Although it is no longer updated it still provides valuable information.
