Stavanger has a lot of shopping opportunities, both malls and enchanting boutiques. Credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Diner’s and American Express) are accepted at almost all shops.

Stores are usually open between 9 and 4:30 on weekdays except Thursdays when they are open to 7 PM. On Saturdays most stores are open between 9 and 3. They are closed on Sundays.

Remember to buy your beer before 6PM on weekdays and 1 PM on Saturdays! Some food stores stay open until 10:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 pm on Sat.
